Our team completed the 14-week inaugural Spark Cohort Accelerator Program. The program was sponsored by The Venture Center and the Little Rock Regional Chamber and provided mentorship, office space and a great way to meet local small businesses at the Technology Park in Little Rock, AR. Our founder, Kent Wood, was there to accept our plaque. |
KENT WOOD | CEO
Before founding ReadtheLabl, Kent was an ATP Certified coach to professional tennis players, owned an enduro mountain biking race production and timing company, and was a consultant to the DoD in project management for technical documentation on Strategic Satellite Communications Systems.
Kent's interest in nutrition began when he was a college tennis player and later a professional ballet dancer. As an ATP coach and later a parent, he became increasingly familiar with the difficulty in preparing or buying truly nutritious foods for his athletes and family.
Seeing the obvious problem in the food industry, Kent set out to solve the problem by innovating the way foods are produced, packaged, and include quality ingredients never seen in packaged, ready to use foods.
Kent's vision for ReadtheLabl is to bring the company to the forefront of the nutritious food industry, provide innovative cutting-edge technology, services, and education to help all of us be healthier.
